Is birth about to start?

Contractions, pre-labour, opening contractions or pushing contractions: All types of contractions fulfil their specific purpose and are sometimes difficult to distinguish. How do I know if I am in labour and the birth is about to start? And when do I need to inform my midwife?

What sleeping behaviour is normal for a baby?

Sleeping is very individual. While some babies sleep most of the time except for feeding, others are already very active and have many awake phases. The same applies here: get to know your baby and find out what works well for your family.
